About Splits

What is Splits?

Splits (also known as Splits F1) is a free, independent Formula 1 companion web app. It brings together everything a fan checks during a season in one fast, ad-free place: the current driver and constructor championship standings, the full race calendar with session times in your timezone, race, qualifying and sprint results, driver and team profiles, and an aggregated feed of F1 news from trusted outlets.

Splits also includes F1 mini-games: Gridle, a daily driver-guessing puzzle, Reaction Start, which recreates the five red starting lights, Reaction Batak, a reflex trainer inspired by the boards drivers use, and Guess Track, a quiz where you identify circuits from their layouts.

Where the data comes from

Calendars, results and standings come from the public Jolpica Ergast F1 API and are refreshed automatically, every few minutes during a race weekend. News headlines are aggregated from established motorsport publications and always link back to the original article. Splits does not collect personal data; read the privacy policy for details.

Who builds it

Splits is designed, built and maintained by Alexis Feron, a full-stack web developer based in Lyon, France. It is a personal project built with Next.js, also available as an installable progressive web app on mobile and desktop.

Independence

Splits is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Formula 1, the FIA, Formula One Management or any team or driver. See the disclaimer for trademark information, and the contact page to report an issue or suggest a feature.
