The Sepang International Circuit was Formula 1's first modern Hermann Tilke design, hosting the Malaysian Grand Prix from 1999 to 2017. Its two long straights separated by hairpins create natural overtaking zones, while the wide sweeping corners, tropical heat and sudden monsoon downpours make it one of the most physically demanding tracks on the calendar.
